Slowly but surely, works are progressing and last week so the base column of concrete that will support the main pillars of the building was cast. The onsite archaelogist also made the discovery of an ancient fire pit in the garden, which was really interesting and a really interesting insight into the history of the building. We await instructions on what to do with our firepit from the Camara's Heritage Department but in the meantime work is progressing to start the reinforced steel columns that will form the structure of the new building. Exciting times seeing the building emerge from the ground.
